I've had my '10 Traverse--AWD 2LT. Noticed this week a problem with the image in the rearview mirror from the backup camera. Its mostly whited out with only a portion of the image visible....Hazy/smokey, almost like a film or something is on the outside camera. Its winter here on the east coast so I thought possibly a film of salt spray may be on the camera. We cleaned it off, but it hasn't improved the image. Any one else seen or heard about this? I was thinking poss. moisture inside the camera but not even sure if that is possible....HELP!

It sounds like you have condensation inside of the camera. ...

Thats what I thought too....Hubs took it apart last night and put the heat gun up to it for a few mins (trying to dry out anything) and still no change. He checked all the wiring to the camera and to the mirror itself....All checks out.
