Front License Plate Bracket: Removable?

One question: we're in a state w/o front license plates. Has someone figured out if the front license bracket can be removed?

I believe Ive seen a post about removing it.
They use rivets to hold it in place.
Youll need to drill the rivet to be able to remove it.
Youll then be left with 2 holes.
Ive seen pics of the holes being filled in with push pins that some have found. (flat pins). depending on the color of the car- they either blend in- or have to be color matches (spray paint) or left as is.

I bet they ars plastic rivets and wouldn't be hard to drill out.

they are metal rivits that need to be drilled out as i removed mine to do my clear bra and the stupid dealer put 4 holes in cause i was going to leave it off but i put i back on.
