I replaced a 2007 Saturn Vue AWD. We liked the Vue but were getting cramped as our kids keep growing and were disappointed that Saturn is "no more".

Replaced a 2007 Suzuki XL7. Wife loved that car but engine light kept going on so after 2 1/2 yrs we unwound the deal under the Lemon Law (actually the Magnusson Moss Act). Suzuki discontinued the XL7, so we went looking and she fell in love with the 2010 Chevy Traverse (LT1) and haven't looked back since.. Glad we made the switch.

2001 Avalon with 140k miles. Baby on the way and a 65 pound dog, plus two nieces and a nephew almost every weekend meant it was time to supersize (but avoid the minivan label).

Had a SAAB 9-7x 5.3i but with no more suv's from GM that size I needed to try this platform. I tow a pop-up and carry 3 kayaks plus need to carry 5 grown-up size people at times.

Hi All,

I traded in a 2003 Cadillac CTS with 100K Miles on my 2011 Red Jewel LT1. Prior to the CTS I'd driven mostly Chevy Pickups... I don't think I ever had a bad one, starting with my first truck in 1976.
So far (one week into it), I love the Traverse. I needed more room for Grandkids, plus at 100K, I wasn't comfortable with driving the CTS across the country to visit relatives.
Hope my expectations are met with the new vehicle!

1999 Buick Regal GSE (the supercharged one!!) with 117K on the clock. We couldn't help with school carpools and had to take two cars if we had company and were going out somewhere.

I didn't want a minivan, but did want something with AWD. The Traverse has been great for us.

Bought the Traverse to replace a 2007 Tahoe. (put 60,000 miles on it) lease return. no real complaints other than the brake rotors warped. I never really liked the styling of the Tahoe, but the Traverse was not an option at that time.

We had a 2003 Chrysler Town & Countyr van with 114k. It was our 2nd van. We got it to accommodate my mom's wheel chair when she was still able to to come to our home for meals and visits. Funny how every vehicle has it's own story.

2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor AWD. 107K and just time to go. After getting accustomed to an SUV/crossover, I just couldn't go back to a car. Even if I don't have kids to tote around yet. I love to have cargo space when you need it.

Need more space... and the better MPG doesn't hurt... PLUS I can still haul out boat!

I have the say this forum really helped me make my decision to purchase this, everyone's feedback is so helpful!

Our '09 'Verse FWD LTZ replaced a 2000 GMC Yukon Denali 4WD that had 75k. Even though that Denali was trouble free, I thought my wife should have a newer car before she retired last summer. So far, we love it, and have the best of both worlds (utility/space and personal fun/sport), as our other car is a '04 'Vette w/37k. These two vehicles should hold us for a while, I think!
