Hey All--I'm a newbie here. I bough my '10 Traverse--AWD 2LT in October and about a month and a half ago it started with a popping noise when making sharp left turns. It has progressively gotten worse and now pops and cracks (kinda like cracking your knuckles) in the same area whenever you hit a bump in the road. Already had it in to the dealer, they thought it was the sway bar mount, but when I took it back in they said it wasn't and claimed they would have to look further because they were thinking it was a suspension problem. It is in for the same problem right now at another dealer all together. Hopefully they can figure this thing out. Is anyone else experiencing this or having the same type of problem???

i have the exact same issue, although i dont have to go over a bump. its just when ever i turn left. just started doing it however i've only had it for 2 weeks and only 600 miles on it. the noise i hear is like running over a air cushioned package and popping it only more subdued (noise wise) then that. theres no question it is some sort of front end component or perhaps a steering component. will not take it to the dealership until it worsens however.

This will be the third time I am taking it back. The noise, esp while turning is so loud!! You nailed it exactly...I said bubble wrap too!! Mine started with the left turn noise and has progressed to the other noise when driving over bumps in the road. I think it is progressively getting worse!! I'll keep posting with what I've found from the dealer....so far they've replaced the shock mount. They also identified a transmission recall-something w/ the timing (I hadn't seen anything on it) and corrected that. But, still sounds like I'm driving over bubble wrap!! It's making me crazy!

i have 2010 Ls awd with 3200 km on it and started doing the samething. I have only had it for a month. other than that I love this vehicule. Going to wait for it to get worse then bring it in hate getting the run around at dealerships.
